What do all of these things have in common? Not much unless you’re looking to build a noodle tower to hold a marshmallow. To win: your team’s tower must be taller than the others and hold the marshmallow for a minimum of 5 seconds. We divided into three teams and set to work.
There were definitely different strategies used. Some were constructed more quickly than others, some more precarious than others.
The tallest tower bounced back and forth, as the teams tried to outdo each other. In the end, strategy (and better tape) triumphed over speed with the blue tape tower, winning at a soaring 41 inches.
We hope you enjoyed our Monday Morning Challenge and we challenge you to break out some noodles and try yourself!
